Spacious room with great amenities

trip advisor rating

We stayed during my birthday this month and they have upgraded our room as a kind gesture without me asking! How many hotels will do his nowadays? The room was so nice with a partial view of the park and the amenities were great. My wife likes the layout of the room and the design of the toilet. The swimming pool is at the rooftop with bar open for service, I have enjoyed this area a lot! I have used their gym too which is so clean and neat plus they have showers and sauna. The location is not that far from Syntigma (center tourist spot), you will just cross the street and take the bus and in 4-5 stops you will reach the place. Going back to the airport is also not on issue since the bus stop is just a few steps away. Since we have evening flight, the hotel allows you to enjoy more of your day by keeping your luggage with them till the very last minute. Overall this hotel is highly recommended and will surely be back again.

Nice hotel

trip advisor rating

We spent the night at this hotel prior to our cruise. It cost $41 Euros from the airport to the hotel . Hotel room was clean, modern and very big. Coffee pot, mini refrigerator. Bed very comfortable. We had a room on the 2nd level across from the park. It was a little noisy but not unlike any hotel in any big city. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was exceptional. Dinner was very good also. Hotel staff was friendly. Service was good. We took a taxi to the ship which cost $20 Euros. We also did the Hop on Hop off bus which had a stop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

A memorable stay

trip advisor rating

The only handicaps for this hotel are the space constraints that are part of the original building erected in the ’70s. This means that rooms may by a bit smaller than average and that elevators are small. Other than that Radisson Blu Park shines in almost every way. Rooms are tastefully decorated, bathroom facilities were very functional, service iwas both friendly (not just polite) and efficient. Breakfast quality was exceptional.
Location for this hotel is at the beginning of Alexandras Av., just opposite of one of largest parks in Athens (Pedion Areos); it’s very close to the Archaeological Museum.
